executives train under the best muay thai instructor in the world - kru mark
to help give themselves an added mental and physical advantage
Eric Basu - ceo Sentek global
"Of all the the martial arts instructors I have worked with, Kru Mark is without doubt one of the most exceptional. He has the rare ability to translate his knowledge of Muay Thai to the ability level and requirements of each student, dynamically and without forethought. To offer a specific example, I have seen him work with me and detail the specific portions of a move that would be relevant in combat, immediately correct my wife to allow her to get a better cardio workout, then work with my youngest son to develop muscle memory for a series of moves. This, combined with his knowledge of Muay Thai in all situations (combat, competition, street) allows him to assist everyone at their own level. Unlike most other martial art classes, I have never left one of Kru Mark's classes feeling like I didn't learn as much as I would have liked. One of the challenges as a business owner and CEO is managing the daily workload while still "sharpening the saw", to borrow a term from "7 Habits of Highly Effective People." Training with Kru Mark, along with my other martial arts, is a critical part of my saw-sharpening. I can forget the stress of whatever the latest crisis is for an hour of learning and honing skills that require my mind to work in different ways than it did before. I can then approach the next problem with a fresh and new perspective.I've wanted to get back into martial arts for years after I left the Navy, but I never had the time to work around class schedules and my business meetings or family events often kept me from maintaining a regular training schedule. In addition, traditional dojos often have their own politics that make it difficult to simply join and train, and some of the newer MMA gyms have a clientele training exclusively for competition, which isn't my goal at 45 years old. Kru Mark's flexibility and willingness to train anywhere also allows me to train with my family, so I can do something for myself while spending time with them."

Kru Mark is the best Muay Thai/martial arts instructor – period.
Mark is an undefeated Muay Thai World Champion, a Vietnam veteran, & war hero. He also trains the top professional MMA fighters for their competitions in the UFC and other cage fights. Mark has years of experience training men, women, and kids in Muay Thai all over the world and has perfected his ability to help average people learn and excel in the combat art of Muay Thai. This is just one of the reasons we feel so fortunate that he is willing to come out to our home garage/gym to train me (and my sons.)
He is a fantastic instructor and incredible motivator and has the patience to help people grow and improve their athletic performance, flexibility, cardio conditioning and speed & reaction time while they learn Muay Thai. Training with Mark has been one of the best ways to burn off excess stress and caffeine from the daily grind in the office. Running a business in an incredibly competitive and demanding job and training with Mark has helped give me the mental and psychological edge it takes to win at work.
Although Muay Thai is a combat art, it has been Mark’s charisma and energy that has helped to make the training fun and interesting. In fact, he is so expert with his skills and training methods that he is able to go full speed with me and my boys and keep us from getting hurt or injured. The top right picture is a profile article in San Diego Business Journal that describes what local executives do to stay in peak condition – train with Kru Mark!

I’ve had the privilege and honor to workout with Kru Mark for the past seven years. His skill, instruction ability, patience, and above all personal example have all been a huge boon not only to my overall training regimen but also, and perhaps more importantly, to by my general state of well being. Without exception, whether I’ve had the best day or the worst, I always feel better following a workout with Master Mark.
Strictly from a training perspective, working out with Kru Mark has returned my body to the strength and flexibility level of at least ten years ago. The fluidity of movement and balance required by has done wonders for my triathlons and played a crucial role in combating the straight-ahead injury inducing drudgery of Ironman training. Muscles, long dormant, have awakened.
Since Kru Mark can endlessly modify workouts to any skill or fitness level, maximizing your workouts is never an issue. And while hitting, for most of us, is not an option, let me tell you, kicking and punching the pads is beyond therapeutic. It is also exceptionally fun to learn the history and tradition of this ancient combat technique and learn from Kru Mark how one could conceivably use it to defend oneself in a real world situation.
I cannot recommend Master Mark more enthusiastically. Do not ever make the mistake, however, of asking him to demonstrate a shin-to-shin kick. All I can say is, I warned you….
